2012 Prediction: Solar Magnetic Mind Storms
Filed under: Astronomy, Outer Space, Science, The Apocalypse
As part of an ongoing series on The Loki Times in which we attempt to predict the predicted apocalypse of 2012 (predicted by the Mayans ages ago), another frightening theory is being tossed into the fray: Solar Magnetic Mind Storms.
Scientists and astronomers predict the next peak in Solar activity will occur in 2012. These solar rampages trigger massive magnetic storms which ripple through outer space in all directions, leaving chaos in their wake. These storms bombard our planet, wreaking havoc on electronic systems. In a worse case scenario, the planet could confront a total electrical and communication blackout. Anarchy would inevitably follow such an event.

Of even more concern is the potential for a devastating “magnetic mind storm”.
“We cannot forget that our brains run on electrical impulses. The full effect of a high intensity solar magnetic storm on the human is still not understood, but given recent studies regarding transcranial magnetic stimulation and magnetic mind control (read here), we feel the result could be the obliteration of millions of human minds,” states a report by Loki Times science advisor Smigel Von Hoffenpot, also a co-chairman of the scientific organization SARS-FR.
If we lose all our electrical systems, ability to communicate, and our minds, an apocalypse could ensue due to the accidental detonation of nuclear weapons, fires, explosions, lack of medical care, and general anarchy. Of course, this is all speculation.

So It Begins: The Age of Magnetic Mind Control

The FDA has approved Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for medical treatment. The government is rolling it out, probably in conjunction with Big Pharmaceutical. If you’ve been following our coverage on magnetic mind control, then you probably know why this is troubling.

This could be the government’s first step toward magnetic mind control on a large scale.

Pros and Cons: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

(do not try transcranial magnetic stimulation at home)
Scientists studying a process called transcranial magnetic stimulation say electromagnetic coils can be used to stimulate and affect brain tissue. The coils generate rapidly changing magnetic fields, and researchers say they can control these fields to either excite or inhibit brain tissue and cells.

There are several pros and cons about further development of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technology.
PROS
1. Treating patients with brain damage, like people in comas and minimally conscious states.
2. Activating parts of our brain we never use consciously, which might give us abilities like telekinesis and telepathy.
3. Increasing brain power.
CONS
1. An accident with a TMS machine could cause an EMF explosion which could inhibit brains in the blast radius.
2. In the wrong hands, the technology might be used as a weapon. For example, a megalomaniac could use it to gain super brain powers, or to inhibit and even control other people’s brains.
The CONS are of particular concern to The Loki Times. If you recall, we recently wrote about research conducted by the High Magnetic Fields Research Laboratory to develop super strong magnets (read here). Beside our theory the super-magnets might be used to capture UFO’s, we now worry the magnets could also be used to power a TMS machine for remote mind control, or worse yet, as a weapon to inhibit and reduce brain power around the world. We’ll keep you posted on developments regarding this story as our investigation develops.
