Thought Helmets And The Presidential Debate

telepathyhelmetWill New Military Technology Be Used By Candidate In The Debate?

Researchers are building mind-reading helmets at the University of California.  The US Army recently injected millions of dollars into the project with the hopes that it will someday allow troops to communicate via mental projections in a combat setting, thus improving tactical efficiency.

However, The Loki Times has information that this technology might have fallen into the hands of the McCain campaign, just before the first presidential debate is to take place.

McCain served honorably in the military and he has maintained close ties with it ever since.  Informants tell us that some of John McCain’s strategists have negotiated a deal with military R&D to borrow a telepathic thought helmet, either so his advisors can remotely beam responses into McCain’s head during the presidential debate or so McCain can infiltrate his opponent Barack Obama’s mind.

McCain has seen a recent decline in the polls since the economic crisis picked up steam in the past few weeks.  Could this be his new strategy to regain the lead?
